The 18-hole Millstätter See Golf Club is located on a sunny alpine plateau directly above Lake Millstatt and just 3 km away from Hotel am See****Die Forelle. The course has hosted the European Challenge Tour several times and is therefore perfectly equipped to welcome both beginners and professional golfers. The fairways on the 18-hole course are perfectly integrated into the picturesque landscape. Golfers play 4 alpine holes followed by 9 parkland holes and then another 5 alpine holes. The topography of the course makes it particularly interesting and the 35 bunkers demand precision and accuracy over long shots.
Learn to play golf with a pro
The Golf School in Millstatt is run by golf pro Paul Thompson who helps you on your journey to becoming a professional golfer. Paul Thompson trained the Austrian National Team and has been coaching the Carinthia State Team since 2005. At the golf school on the course in Millstatt, Thompson provides tips and tricks for improving tactics, swing technique and mental strength in group courses and private lessons. Children's courses are also available, which are held on the lawn and provide an introduction to the game for groups of 3-5 children.
